Steakhouse Burger

You can’t beat a classic grill season go-to done right.

Serves 4.


Ingredients

  • 4 half-pound burgers
  • 4 slices of your favorite cheese
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1 large sliced tomato
  • 1 red onion sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 pickle slices
  • Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1

Start by cleaning and oiling your grill. Then heat it to 500 degrees F.

Step 2

If you didn’t purchase your burger patties already formed, form the meat into four equal-sized, half-pound patties. Then, season each patty with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Place your burgers on the grill and cook to your preferred level of doneness.

Step 4

Spread butter on both side of the burger buns. Then, place them on the grill for one minute.

Step 5

In the final minute of grilling, top each patty with sliced cheese.

Step 6

Remove burgers and buns from the grill and place each patty on a bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles, or any of your favorite toppings. Then, dig in.
